Together Let’s Rise, is a non-profit 501(C)3, a beacon of healing and hope located in the heart of South Los Angeles, that was founded by Dr. Shadeiyah, a passionate visionary leader. At Together Let’s Rise, we believe every young person, no matter their history, deserves a future filled with healing, hope, and opportunity; no one should be defined by their past, especially not our youth.

Our Core Programs

These pillars inform every aspect of our approach because healing is holistic, and transformation is collective.

Intensive Case Management

Life can feel overwhelming when navigating housing instability, trauma, or reentry. Our case managers walk beside each youth to provide guidance, connect them to medical and mental health care, and create personalized service plans.

Workforce Development

Equipping youth with vocational skills, job readiness, and second-chance employment opportunities to foster long-term financial stability.

Family Reunification

Restoring and strengthening healthy family relationships while building supportive networks that anchor youth in stability.

Community Engagement

Advocating for equity, building partnerships, and challenging systemic barriers to create lasting opportunities for young people.

Our Approach

Intensive Case Management

Life can feel overwhelming when navigating housing instability, trauma, or reentry. Our case managers walk beside each youth to provide guidance, connect them to medical and mental health care, and create personalized service plans.

Behavioral Health Services

Built to support youth and families through culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. We create welcoming spaces where individuals can heal, manage emotional distress, and build healthier futures.

Supportive Housing

A stable home is the turning point in someone’s life. We provide housing referral services that connect youth facing homelessness with safe, secure, and supportive housing options so they can focus on healing.

Employment & Education

Economic stability is key. We help clients develop soft skills, provide career coaching, and offer job readiness support, empowering individuals to break the cycle of poverty through sustainable careers.

Community Reintegration

Economic stability is key. We help clients develop soft skills, provide career coaching, and offer job readiness support, empowering individuals to break the cycle of poverty through sustainable careers.

Gang Prevention & Youth Dev.

Using a client-centered approach, we help youth identify underlying trauma and understand the mindset fueling gang involvement. We empower them to choose a path rooted in leadership and healing.

At Together Let’s Rise, we use a research-informed evaluation approach to understand our impact, strengthen program quality, and remain accountable to the youth, families, community partners, and funders we serve. We believe evaluation should measure more than attendance or service numbers. It should help us understand whether participants are experiencing meaningful progress toward healing, stability, family connection, workforce readiness, and long-term independence.

Our evaluation process combines quantitative data and qualitative feedback. We track measurable indicators such as program participation, referrals, confirmed linkages, case management progress, family reunification support, workforce development milestones, and participant goal completion. We also collect participant voice through surveys, intake assessments, follow-up check-ins, reflection tools, and case notes to better understand lived experience, barriers, strengths, and areas for growth.

Using a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens, we review data regularly to identify trends, improve services, and make program adjustments based on community needs. This allows us to move beyond simply reporting outcomes and toward continuous learning, reflection, and improvement.

Our goal is to ensure that every program is rooted in evidence, guided by participant experience, and responsive to the realities of justice-impacted and housing-insecure youth and families. Through this approach, Together Let’s Rise can clearly show funders what is working, while staying grounded in the humanity behind every number.

“Everybody can be great because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
— Martin Luther King Jr.
